Tonight is Halloween, and every year this celebration is becoming more and more rooted in the traditions of Europe, with parties and events where children and adults are involved.

Halloween, one of the most important celebrations in the world, has its origins in the Celtic celebration of Samain. This day marked the end of the harvest season, but also was the day that spirits returned to dismiss their families. However, it was thanks to the United States and, especially, its cinematography, that the party has achieved worldwide success.

Esta noche es Halloween,  y cada año que pasa se convierte en una celebración  cada vez más arraigada en las costumbres europeas con fiestas y eventos en los que participan niños y adultos por igual.

Halloween, una de las fiestas más importantes a nivel mundial, tiene sus raíces en la celebración celta del Samaín, que marcaba el final de la época de cosechas, pero, además, era el día en que los espíritus volvían de entre los muertos para despedir a sus familiares. No obstante, ha sido gracias a Estados Unidos y, sobre todo, su cinematografía, que la fiesta ha alcanzado cotas de éxito mundial.
