Cinderella, the film:

As we told you in a previous post, today it is the premiere of a film we all were waiting excited to see: Cinderella.

Cinderella is a fairy tale that tells the story of young Ella (played by Lily James in fiction) whose father remarries after the death of her mother. But unexpectedly he dies and her stepmother (Cate Blanchett) relegates Ella to be a servant, who nicknames her Cinderella. Stepsisters Anastasia and Drisella are jealous and cruel to her.

However, Cinderella does not lose hope despite the cruelty and is ready to fulfill the last words of her mother, who told her to "be brave and kind." Her fairy godmother (Helena Bonham Carter) will help her accomplish it making a lovely dress and glass shoes so she can go to the royal ceremony where the prince is looking for a bride to marry.

Cinderella must return home before midnight, when the spell ends, but when she runs home she loses a shoe that the Prince finds out, which finally helps him find Cinderella and be happy together.

Como ya os contamos en su día en un post anterior, hoy mismo se estrena una película que estábamos deseando ver: Cenicienta.

La Cenicienta es un cuento de hadas que narra la historia de la joven Ella (interpretada por Lily James en la ficción) cuyo padre vuelve a casarse tras la muerte de su madre. Pero inesperadamente éste muere y la madrastra (Cate Blanchett) relega a Ella a ser una sirvienta, a quien apoda Cenicienta. Sus hermanastras Anastasia y Drisella son celosas y crueles con ella.

Sin embargo, Cenicienta no pierde la esperanza y a pesar de la crueldad con la que la tratan, está dispuesta a cumplir las últimas palabras de su madre, que le dijo que debía "ser valiente y amable". Su hada  madrina (Helena Bonham Carter)  le ayudará a cumplirlo haciéndole un precioso vestido y unos zapatos de cristal para que pueda acudir al baile real en el que el príncipe busca futura esposa.

 

Cenicienta deberá volver a su casa antes de la medianoche, momento en que el hechizo termina, pero al salir corriendo pierde un zapato que el príncipe encuentra, lo que finalmente le permite encontrar a Cenicienta y ser felices.

INTO THE WOODS, the film:

Today we are very excited because "Into the Woods", the film we were so much looking forward to seeing its finally coming  out. A film directed by Rob Marshal and produced by Walt Disney Pictures Into the Woods is a musical that combines the plots from several stories that P.S. Besitos loves: Cinderella, Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and Jack and the magic beans.

The film tells the story of a married bakers couple who have been cursed by a witch (played by the fantastic Meryl Streep) and they have to get into the woods to find the necessary items to break the spell. 

On their way they meet characters from the Grimm Brothers stories and the combination of all of these leads into a fabulous film full of adventure. Starts as a fantasy musical and evolves into a story about responsibility and the consequences that our wishes carry.

It is the first theatric adaptation that Disney does of a Broadway musical and we delighted to introduce you to this incredible film "Into the Woods".

Hoy en P.S. Besitos estamos muy contentos porque se estrena Into the Woods, la película dirigida por Rob Marshal y producida por Walt Disney Pictures  que llevábamos tiempo esperando. Into the Woods es un musical que combina los argumentos de varios largometrajes que en P.S. Besitos nos encantan: Cenicienta, Caperucita Roja, Rapunzel y Jack y las habichuelas mágicas.

La película cuenta la historia de un matrimonio de panaderos que han sido maldecidos por una bruja (interpretada por la fabulosa Meryl Streep) y deben introducirse en el bosque para encontrar los objetos necesarios para acabar con este hechizo.

Por el camino se encontrarán con personajes de los cuentos de los hermanos Grimm y la combinación de todos estos elementos da lugar a una película cargada de aventuras que comienza siendo un musical de fantasía y termina siendo una historia sobre la responsabilidad y los problemas que conllevan los deseos.

Es la primera adaptación teatral de Disney de un musical de Broadway y en P.B. Besitos no podemos estar más expectantes por ver Into the Woods.

“Cinderella”, a new P.S. Besitos clutch book:

In P.S. Besitos we are still presenting you our new clutch models for this season. Today is “Cinderella” moment, one of our fairy tales title.

Perrault wrote the most famous version from this tale, but famous thanks to the Disney film dated on 1950. Nevertheless, “Cinderella” is a story we can find in Ancient Egypt, Classical Greece or the Far Orient. Even The Grimm Brothers wrote their own version very different from the Perrault’s tale.

“Cinderella” is now in fashion again because Kenneth Branagh, the well known actor and director, is shooting a movie version with so remarkable actress as Cate Blanchett (she will be the stepmother) or Helena Bonham Carter (the fairy godmother).

We’ll have to wait for a long time until the film premier, maybe until March 2015. Meanwhile, we propose you to enjoy with the new P.S Besitos model “Cinderella”, sure it suits you perfect with your favorite looks.

Todavía no hemos terminado de presentaros los nuevos modelos de P.S. Besitos para esta temporada. Hoy le toca el turno a “Cenicienta”,  enmarcado dentro de nuestra sección de cuentos infantiles.

Aunque es la versión del escritor  Perrault  la más conocida, especialmente gracias a la adaptación en el año 1950 de la película de Disney,  la historia de Cenicienta  la  encontramos  en el Antiguo Egipto, la Grecia Clásica o el Lejano Oriente. Incluso los hermanos Grimm escribieron una versión bastante diferente de la de Perrault.

A día de hoy  “Cenicienta” se ha puesto otra vez de actualidad gracias a la película que está rodando el famoso actor y director inglés Kenneth Branagh. En el reparto hay actrices de la talla de Cate Blanchett, que hace de madrasta o Helena Bonham Carter, de hada madrina.

El estreno está previsto para marzo del año 2015, todavía nos queda esperar  una larga temporada, así que mientras tanto por qué no disfrutamos con el nuevo modelo “Cinderella” de P.S. Besitos, te combinará a la perfección con cualquiera de tus looks preferidos.
